Film screening tickets are 10 for adults, 7 for seniors (age 62+), 5 for college students, 5 for children (age 17 and younger), and 8 for Museum Members. Toshio Suzuki, a producer and Studio Ghibli co-founder, said, It is an immense honor that Hayao Miyazaki is the inaugural temporary exhibition at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Feats of meticulous, hand-drawn mastery, Miyazaki’s films teem with visual imagination and profound stories that explore themes of self-discovery, pacifism, environmentalism, and humanity’s capacity for both invention and destruction. One of the cofounders of Studio Ghibli, along with director Isao Takahata and producer Toshio Suzuki, Hayao Miyazaki has forged a singular path as a storyteller.
